Using the "Matches Expression" condition in creating a rule condition for Oracle Identity Analytics.

I have been trying to get the "Matches Expression" option to work, no matter what format I try to use the results are empty. Can some one point me in the direction of how to create a correctlly formatted value to get the option to function.
