Questions about OIM 11G R2(request completion notification, approval in trust recon, provisioning OI

I have read many OIM document, set up trusted recon with role based access, and request template base request access. However, I'm struggling in getting solution for the following items. It would be great apprecated if the forum can point me to the right direction,

Q1. how to setup OIM to send out email notification after request completion

    I found a default notification template, but not sure.

        Request Status Change, Template to send notification during a request status change
   
Q2. have an approve process for trusted recon (and / or automated provision)

    I knew we can configure the approval policy for manual request type (like request user creation / modification, request role access, request resource access, request template based access, etc.), but I have not figured out the way we plug an approval process in an automated provision (like the process whether trust recon triggers role auto-granting, which in turn triggers resource provision). I have tried the option of requesting a dummy request template based request from a new customized task within OIM user process, which triggers the approval process before creating OIM user and / or provisioning the resource account. Can you please kindly hint me if you have
