Facing Issue in Sorting order while clicking in a Prompt filed

Hi,
We have a page where we have customized the Prompt record of a particular field. While clicking the Prompt button the Prompt values are showing in proper way.
In the Prompt view there are various fields, when we click one Label of a field ideally it should SORT that column values ASC or DESC order. But this sorting order is not working.
Also this page is showing 300 rows at a time, when we click the "View 100" link which is delivered, it is not showing the 100 values, instead it is still showing all 300 rows.
We have customized the propmt record only. But this sorting order of the Prompt fields should be the delivered one which is not working.
