OVD DN-based Attribute Mapping

 We've recently implemented OVD and ODSEE in our environment.  There are some applications that search for nsRole values and are expecting the DN values based on the old DIT in our Sun DS5.2 environment.  How would I map the nsRole value in one of my OVD adapters to translate a value like "nsRole: cn=revo.pharmacy_tech,o=intranet,dc=heb,dc=com" to "nsRole: cn=revo.pharmacy_tech,ou=US,dc=heb,dc=com"?
