Mass download of required at install/upgrade fixes? Do I need to "Download Patch Metadata?"

We're in the process of doing a PeopleSoft upgrade from FSCM 8.8sp1 to 8.9.  (This is an interim upgrade on the path to our goal of FSCM 9.2.)  I've created a demo FSCM 8.9/8.49 environment.  I'm am downloading all the required at install and required at upgrade patches which I intend to apply to this demo environment.  There are over 120 of them.  First off is there a quick way to dowload them all in one shot as opposed to downloading them one at a time?  Also I've noticed that in addition to the update file itself you have the option
