The Income Tax Department through NSDL has released the latest File Validation Utility (FVU) version 3.8 on 29-JUN-2013 which would be applicable from 01-JUL-2013. Both regular returns and correction statements will have to validated through this new FVU.

To handle this requirement Oracle Financials for India Product team has released relevant patches. You can refer metalink note 1569580.1.
