Cause for PeopleSoft server down Issue

Hi,

Good Evening!

We are using PeopleSoft 9.0 and PeopleTools 8.51 for our Company. We used to take a database backup(DB2) during night time on a daily basis after making the peoplesoft application server down.

DBAs are using script to bring down the application server, take a back up of database and bring up the application server. The server is not restarting on its own for the past few days. It is down for the long time. we have to manually reboot the server for bringing it up. If you have any ideas to resolve this issue, Please share the same.
