XML Publisher - to_check_number() - not returning text in ENGLISH

Hi,

We are in PS Finance 9.1 and 8.52 tools.

We are customizing the CHECK2 template (AP Module) using XML Publisher. In the template design, we have used <?xdofx:to_check_number(Payment_Amount, 'USD')?>  function to get the amount translated to free text in ENGLISH language. But by default its returning in language other than ENG language. We have tested the delivered CHECK2 as well, we are hitting with same issue.

Attached the snapshot of the template and final output.

It would be great, if anybody can advice on whether any fix/solution available for this issue.
