Performance Issues with PeopleSoft 9.0 using IE8 and Windows 7

We upgraded to Windows 7 two months ago.  Since then we have noticed slowness in PeopleSoft with navigation between pages (esp. when have not navigated for a few minutes) and opening nvision reports to excel takes several seconds.  Has anyone else experienced these same issues and what did you do to resolve this?
