Running PSEMAgent in PUM Image

I'm trying to get the HCM 9.2.001 PUM Image working with Change Assistant so I can use it as a source for "required at upgrade" updates.  I understand this requires the PSEMAgent to be running in the PI first.  Unfortunately, I have virtually no knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, and I have never worked with the Change Assistant, so I'm quote unfamiliar with this entire process.

Exactly how to I get the PSEMAgent started in the PI ?  What login should I use?  What is the path to the StartAgent.sh program?  I assume I need to edit configuration.properties to specify the hub, but how is that accomplished in Linux?  That is, what tool is included in the image capable of editing a text file?
