HR 9.2/Tools 8.53 Workflow Question - does a value for Alternate User Id "trump" a user set up in th

Hi everyone,

We are starting our upgrade process from 8.9 to 9.2 HCM and Tools 8.46 to 8.53.

Our company has an interest in the Delegation Framework.  We are a large, decentralized company and managers often delegate tasks to subordinates, peers and supervisors. 

Lets say that John Smith decides to 'delegate' his approval of  transaction type "A" to Jean Smith.  He also goes on a long vacation and his User Profile is updated to show Fred Smith as the Alternate Approver.

While John is on vacation, a transaction of type "A" is initiated.

Would Jean Smith receive the workflow to perform the approval of transaction type "A", via the delegation framework?
