Cannot start OAM from WLS

Hi,


I have WLS and OAM installed and "almost" configured.  I can start the managed domain - OAM - from the cmd line but not from WLS console.  I can "stop" it, but WLS sees it as 'FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE'.  If I restart it from cmd line, WLS sees it as RUNNING.

Before, when I tried to start it from the console, II was getting an error message - not machine attached, or Node Manager unreachable.  I added the machine, corrected the Node Manager parameters.

Now, it apparently reached the node manager:  the admin server displays a pretty generic error message:  <BEA-300048> <Unable to start the server oam_server1 : Exception while starting server 'oam_server1'>
