Oracle Mobile and Social - validation of linking attribute

With regards to the Mobile and Social SDK's - is there a need for  a framework  enhancement for ensuring that the linked attribute is validated at time of linking - if the account is not validated then a workflow - resulting is a validation out of band via sms or email

how are people implementing this today ....
