ItemClassificationMod.xml in JAR (batch_orpos_extract.ksh)

Dear Oracle Retail Community,
I would like to have some information regarding the ItemClassificationMod.xml in JAR that is generated when we run the batch_orpos_extract.ksh batch.

1. When does this XML have information? (Currently in my system RMS 13.2.4 after running the JAR extract batch i dont see any information in this XML).
2. What is the use of this XML?
3. What are the Pre-Requisites?

Note: I work with RMS Version 13.1.7 and 13.2.4
