IDP showing 500 internal error

 Hello,
I have OIF 11.1.1.6 working as IDP and OAM 11g as authentication engine.
While accessing the url  http://oifhost:oifport/fed/idp  I am getting error 500 internal server error but while accessing metadata link (http://oifhost:oifport/fed/idp/metadata) I can see metadata.

My question is ideally what should link http://oifhost:oifport/fed/idp show (Is that IDP login page?) and what could be the reason for http 500 internal error for this idp url?
