Referring to document E-PG: How To Configure Pivot Grid Security And Roles? (Doc ID 1400140.1)
This document mentions 3 delivered roles to organize pivot grid security as part of the 3rd security layer : PivotGridAdmin, PivotGridSuperUser, Pivot Grid end user
Problem 1 : The delivered demo database contains only 2 roles : PivotGridAdmin, PivotGridSuperUser
Problem 2 : When I assign any of both roles to a user, this user does not get access to any of the pivot grid programs (Pivot Grid Wizard, Pivot Grid Viewer), even after running the Portal Security Synch.
