Appointments and AC in WMS

Dear Support,

Kindly elaborate to the following :

1. How does the WH resources will create a new Appt ,once the PO was flown from RMS - RWMS. 
Will the Vendor will call / send an E-mail to WH manager? OR any advance ASN IN Message will flow to RWMS? 

(We know PO contains Before and After dates, but days between them may contain long Gap)


2. Once the waves are assigned and running the batches, WMS will generate unique Container ID to pick .On What basis this container id is generated?
(Those container id's are not assigned by the User while receiving at receiving door).
