How to install PT 8.48 client and PT 8.53 client in single workstation?

 Hi,
Currently the developers workstation have PT 8.48 installed with Oracle 10g client. I would like to install PT 8.53 client also installed in the same workstation along with PT 8.48.

I tried but PT 8.53 does not work with Oracle 10g client. What is the procedure to get both PT 8.48 and PT 8.53 clients installed? What is the Oracle client version I should have that works with both tools clients?

Please clarify
