Oracle Secure Enterprise Search Operating System

Does your SES server need to be on the same operating system level as your application server and database server?  For example can you run SES on Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 (when it is certified) but have your database and application servers on Microsoft Windows 2012?

Any ideas of when SES 11.2.2.2 will be released and hopefully certified on 2008 R2?   Our middleware support group indicated that 11.2.2.2 has been release and is certified with 2008 R2 but I can't find anything on MOS to support this.   I been monitoring Doc ID 1539537.1 E-SES Certified Operating System Versions for Oracle SES in a PeopleSoft Environment but the last update from 9/16 says that 11.2.2.2 is planned  to be certified on Windows Server 2008 R2 and it will be available soon.  I am assuming this Doc ID will be updated when it becomes available?

Howdy, Stranger!
