Work Item for Dunning Letter has Status "In Error - Check Notification"

We are going to implement R12 and are using Scoring Engine/ Strategies to send Dunning Letters.  The work item of the dunning letter has the Status "In Error - Check Notification".  The Notification lists the customers for which correspondences failed. 

Is there a way to reset the work item that failed, so that the correspondences can be printed?  Some light on this issue is much appreciated.
