Substitute Items : Replenishment

Currently I have confirgured replenishment  for item A for for stores L1, L2 etc , source as Warehouse.

Currently the item  A has substitute items S1 . Now I decide to discontinue the item A ,use S1 as the main item  and need to copy the replenishment attributes of A to S1.

Please advice the steps for that.
