Data synchronization between two PeopleSoft using IB

Hello,

Generally using IB to synchronize data, eg. USER_PROFILE, between two different PeopleSoft environments (HCM and EPM) is quite straightforward, what I mean is because both have unique Default Local Node and therefore just a matter of setting up gateway properties, adding trusted nodes and maybe attaching additional routing to the service operation.  However, I found that if I have to sync between two similar PS applications, eg HCM to HCM, then it is difficult to make it working, unless the Default Local Node has a different node name in one of the environment!  Am I missing something in the configuration or
