How to upload RG23D Balance

 HIDuring Migration from Legacy to Oracle application we have to transfer RG23D Balance in Trading Org's.

I am able to do it using Manual RG23D update form:-

1. Do we need to use Misc Receipt (RG23D update). (as few posts mention so) and why.

2. Do this manual Entry in RG23D form will create any accounting Entry?

Any other instruction on this will help us.
