Precisions on Promise reconciliation regarding to AR receipts

The following question concerns 11i release (but please, if behaviour is different in R12, thank you you precise it).

I Wonder something about promise reconcliation program in such a situation: for a given deliquency transaction, I enter 2 promises with 2 differents dates.

When a receipt in recorded and applied in AR (but not in IEX) corresponding to the first promise (which is so respected), does the reconciliation program identify that 1st promise is respected ?

Or does it consider a broken promise because in my example, only a part of the invoice is paid (i.e. some amount is still due) ?
