Customize COGS based on item cost type

 Wondering if anyone has insight for this.
I need to customize the OM COGS workflow to generate a COGS based on the cost type of the item.

If an item has 3 costs (material, overhead, resource), during costing, the COGS workflow is called at least once, possibly 3 times to generate the 3 COGS entries.
I need to generate a different COGS account for the resource and overhead entries.

It doesn't look like cost type is passed to the workflow.
Any ideas?
