scheduled reportbook " Process Request shows status of 'INITIATED' or 'PROCESSING' but no longer run

We have scheduled report books to run daily from 3:00am to 6:00am.  There are 11 report books starting at staggered times.  The first or second time they run all go to success.  The second or third time one or two of them go to error with the first report in the book started and then the message 'INITIATED' or 'PROCESSING' but no longer running".  In subsequent runs a few more of the report books go to error.  The report books that go to error are submitted manually (not scheduled) and always go to success.  What needs to be done to have the scheduled report  books always go
