Left Menu Navigation Problem after PeopleTools 8.49 Upgrade with Portal 8.8

Hello,
We have recently upgraded our Portal 8.8 environment from PeopleTools 8.48.15 to PeopleTools 8.49.33. Everything seems to be working fine except for the left navigation menu which goes to error once you click any link or menu there. We are consistently getting the error below:
