NFS compound failed for server xx.xx.xxx.xxx.: error 9

Hi All,

NFS-client was thhrowing  below error on system.then i remounted the nfs mount point.

NFS compound failed for server <NFS-Server>: error 9 (RPC: Program/version mismatch)

Can anyone help about the error i.e. what is the reason for error,is there any bug in system .
