Hi ,
I am in process of implementing SSL for a PeopleSoft application and had some confusion about this. appreciate if someone can reply and clarify those --
** Without implementing SSL, if i use https://ip:port ... for my application giving the https port i am able to login to the application. It just produces a certificate error on browser. So is this SSL ? and are communications between browser and web server encrypted ?? if so, is implementing SSL all about mitigating the certificate error ?
** Do i necessarily have to have an authentication token domain before setting up SSL ?
** Can someone put the concept as to how public private key is used in peopesoft PIA ? i mean how secure communication takes place .. pelase give reference of any documents which explains in relation to weblogic in peoplesoft .
