Update Action Link in Workflow

Hi All,

We are in version 12.1.2

When notifications go for approval, there will be a link called 'Update Action' within the notification. Using this, if necessary, approver can update the actual request details and then approve.

Right now it is not appearing in the approval notifications. Please guide me how to make it appear. Is it related to profile or workflow version.
