Oracle Instan Client for PeopleSoft App/Batch Servers

Hi,
I´m  installing FSCM 9.1 - FP2 with PT 8.53 on a Linux x64 Server (RH 6.3).    There is a security requirement to not install some compilers and libraries in Linux, these are required for the ORacle Client  OUI installer, however Linux admin wants to use the instant client package to be used by the App/Batch Server that will be installed in this Linux machine.    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/linuxx86-64soft-092277.html

Is ORacle Instant Client 11gR2 certified for PT 8.53 or do we need to use the old OUI installer for the ORacle client?  IS there any problem or lack of library reported for PEopleSoft using Instant client?
