OIM 11.1.2.1.0 User Validate Data Task

Customer has a requirement to have users validate some of their information once per year.
I would like to allow them to reset their end_date attribute to verify they completed the re-validation.
Are there any examples of how I can allow them to reset thier end_date via a check box or radio button?
Any other ideas on the best way to accomplish this tasking?
