How do you make PeopleSoft use SES in SSL mode?

 Hello,
I have recently installed SES 11.2.2.2 and have it working on our HCM 9.2 demo environment.  The problem I have is that it is currently using HTTP only and cannot make it use SSL.  I have read the Oracle SES Admin Guide for 11.1.2.0.0 regarding the SSL and HTTPS support in Oracle SES (11-32 thru 11-41).  The only thing I have not done in that documentation is the OHS part since we are not using Oracle HTTP server.  When I tried to change the configuration to use the HTTPS port and then try to save the Search Instance configuration, I
