F7 Cancel button on Bulk Picking Screen

Hi All,
While Bulk picking the Container the below scenario happens.

1. Login to HHT
2.Option 3 for Picking
3.Bulk Picking Option 1
4.Scan the Pick to Container ID and press Tab
5. Immediately Press F7 Cancel button on the Screen
6.Press Yes.
7.Check the Container History Table, the CID is deleted and the Pick From CID, the distributed units are 0.

The Pick to Container ID is deleted.

Let me know the Function of F7 button on this screen. Is it the desired functionality of the button or not.
