Record selection in BI Publisher

Hello,

I am new to BI Publisher and working on converting our crystal reports into BI publisher. I have to create a report where I have to filter the records based on current date which is similar to 'Record Selction formula' in crystal reports. How can I achive the same using BI publisher? It would be really helpful if you can share your thoughts/ideas/experience on the same?

Formula for selecting the records based on Rolling days. rolling days= current date - payment date.
