'Return to Worklist' on notification body

  Hi,
We are having requirement as below:

We have made custom worklist (on OAF page) as business requirement was to search notifications based on some conditions. It is opening and WF notification is opening after clicking on 'Subject'.
While clicking on 'Return to Worklist' on notification body, standard worklist is opening. We want to open 'custom worklist (on OAF page)' on clicking on 'Return to Worklist'. 
How we can achieve this?
Whether changing the function 'WF_WORKLIST' to custom page is correct option?
Can we hide 'Return to Worklist' on notification body and add a new function/link in place of that?
