We are upgrading from PT8.51.13 to PT8.53.08.   We are on Windows 2008 R2 servers.   Everything was working perfectly, until today when I went through the process for installing the Crystal Runtime as outlined in Doc ID 1540788.1  (a more detailed version of Task 16-3-3 in the Installation Guide).  Everything seemed to go well.  I also removed and reinstalled .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and 4 following the instructions in Task 10-9-2 of the Installation Guide.   I saw another post from today so I also installed the Open XML SDK for nVision.
Once I reconfigured everything and tried to log on, I got a horrible looking home page and the errors about being unable to load the Java VM.   I tried copying the msvcr71.dll from my jre\bin folder to \bin\server\WINX86, but that didn't help.

Howdy, Stranger!
