RBAC - Create Grants and Permission Sets to functions and menus in one screen

Hi,

We want to build custom menus/submenus, remove all grants on the menus/submenus and use Grants and Permission Sets in UMX (User Management) to allow users to use certain functions.

We also want to implement role hierarchies, where roles are inherited based on the hierarchy, which will facilitate the sys admin maintenance going forward.

From what I have read and configured, there are two ways to assign grants and permission sets:

1.       Assign grants directly to roles, which allows you to select menus and submenus (standard and custom) from the list of values but functions are not available in the list.
