Installation OID 11.1.1.7 / How to turn on debugging for oidldapd - opmn

Hi,
i'm doing an installation of OID 11.1.1.7 (RDBMS DBEE 11.2.0.4, JDK 1.6.45, WLS 10.3.6, Solaris 11 SPARC).

I followed the installation guide "Basic Install Steps for Oracle Identity Manager 11g (Linux Screen-Shots) (Doc ID 1224295.1)" (whoever wrote this guide - congratulations, good job, it's a really good guide!, give me more of these guides!!).

The installation runs fine, but in the end, opmnctl configures the oid and fails.
The status at this point is:
oid@baboraoid:~$ opmnctl status

This is correct, because if the creation of the OID component fails in the installation, it is removed from the opmn environment.
