Adding Note Types and Task Types Within Advanced Collections

I've been asked to add 'Note' Types on the Notes tab and 'Task' Types on the Task Tab of a Collections Window. I have tried to find out how to do this in the Advanced Collections documentation but it isn't very clear what to do.  I thougt it would just be a look up value but it seems more complex than that. 

Can somebody advise how I do this. I've attached screen prints of the window where I want to add the Task Type and Note Type LOV items
