OIF and OAM - Integration for the Third party authentication using SAML1.1
How the OIF and OAM - Integration for the Third party authentication using SAML1.1
• The user logs in to Third party Server using an ID and password for authentication.
• Third party server validates id and password and constructs a Assertion Message containing the Assertion for the subject/user
• SANE server creates a SAML Artifact that identifies Assertion Message and sends SAML artifact back to the browser with command to redirect Oracle Access Manager
• The user then clicks on the link to view OEM Application protected by Oracle Access Manager and authenticated by OIF
• OIF receives the SAML Artifact from the browser. OIF uses the federation protocols to identify a user, and requests OAM to create an authenticated session at Access Manager.
