10.1.4.3 OID replication, one way LDAP replication

I installed 10.1.4.3 OID as a Master (on server1)  and replica (on server2), Linux OS.  Replication is a 1-way LDAP replication.  Insalled teh replica by following the install doc, choosing .."high availabilty ..", "replication",  :One-way LDAP repliaction" options.   Install was successful.  I do not see Repilcation server   is not starting. i do not see any "oidprepld" process.   Am i missing any steps here ?

do i need to create replication groups, replication rules etc ?   are there any doc id/notes i could follow to set this up right ?

pl note: this is NOT an advanced replication,  only a One-way LDAP repliaction.
