Dear All,

we are trying to sell an Oracle server with Infiniband connection.

is there anyone who can tell me if:

1. After you install and configure the infiniband adpater can it works like a normal gigabit ?

2. management of  ip is like on gigabit networks ?

3. does applications running on gigabit continue to operate on infiniband transparently ?

4. do you think there is anything else I should know regarding infiniband ?
