Thousands concurrent users Issue

We are on Peopletool 8.52.04,Tuxedo 10g, Weblogic 10.3.4 and HCM 9.0. We have issue system got crashed when there are more than 2000 concurrent users. We have only one alternative is to restart web server and appserver at that time. This happened in production enviroment.Currently we have two webservers domains and 4 application servers domains on two physical servers with 24GB memory to handle this traffic. But in near future we are expecting to have more than 20000 concurrent users on above infrastructure.

-Do you have any suggestions to improve our existing infrastructure with efficient configuration of app/web server domains?

-Do we need more physical servers/Virtual Machines to host multiple Webserver and Application servers?
