WF Notification Maile deactivates

R12.1.3 running on RH Linux 5.8.

Had to change our WF setup for IMAP from a local email server to outlook running in the cloud.
This was kind of last minute as it was overlooked in the conversion steps but suffice to say it is working but the only issue is the Notification Mailer is getting DEACTIVATED for some reason.
So far I have just stopped and started the WF Notification Mailer service due to constraints from the customer.
I've suggested I should really shut it down and run autoconfig to properly implement this change.
Is that potentially my issue?

If I check the log file in $APPLCSF/$APPLLOG I am also seeing "Unable to connect to mail store" errors.
