Pack item deal income is not getting calculated even though track_pack_level_ind is set to Y

Hi All,
For deals that have track_pack_level_ind is set to Y , deal income is not getting generated for pack items.

RMS version 12

DEAL_APPL_TIMING = 'R'

Can anyone please explain why. Please let me know if you require any further details
