Can I run releaseadaptor

We are looking to apply some 8 HCM bundles and working on forcasting how much development testing time we will need. I want to import all the projects with no objects into the demo database then combine them and compare against our dev to show what core mods will need to be re-applied. When I try to import some of the projects I get errors saying that some objects in the projects are not in my tools release.

I know that the change assistant runs releaseadaptor to filter the projects. I tried to run it on my own but still can't import the project.
