Clarity needed for DOC Id:1320844.1 regarding Customer Orders

Hello Everyone,

The Doc ID 1320844.1 from MOS says that "The Customer Information from a Customer Order created in RMS is sent through the Retail Integration Bus (RIB) to Oracle Retail Point of Service (POS)."

But how is it possible? How can POS be integrated to RIB ?

Can someone please clarify the explanation ?
