unable to update pos decalred total value if system option TRAN_NO_GENERATED is R

Hi,

I was trying to update the value column in front end for tran type TOTAL when the system option TRAN_NO_GENERATED to R it is allowing to change but the value is not getting saved throwing error POS tranno,register should be unique.It was allowing to update the value column when the system option is S

we are using ReSA 13.2.5 version.Please clarify
