Tools 8.53 Change Assistant: Tracing

Is anyone aware of ways to trace Change Assistant 8.53?  We are upgrading to FSCM 9.2/PeopleTools 8.53.  Installed on Window 7 Professional laptop.

Having problems with Change Assistant and unable to determine the exact cause of error (another discussion I started yesterday concerning error message "Couldn't create a pshome server for ...").  Have an SR open with MOS but not having much luck resolving issue.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated!
